Literacy Volunteers of East Bay believes that well-trained and supported volunteers can
be effective teachers of adults. We provide free, individualized student-centered
instruction in basic literacy and English language skills.
We are committed to building literacy skills among adults here in Rhode Island and nearby
Massachusetts. Our learners experience real results and life-long change due to their hard
work with our volunteers.
